New World recently updated with a new zone, ‘Night Haven’. It’s a big zone with many points of interests as well as scenic views. I took some time to capture some Gaming Photography to share with others. I was actually trying to find a fishing Hotspot but it seems like Nighthaven is devoid of any new fishing hot spots to cast in. Boo! I’ll keep searching though.

Here is the gallery for you to peruse with some notes about the location:

Title: Apple Shack

Despite Nighthaven being a zone of Vampires and Werewolves, there is still parts of the zone that are bright. This small hovel is right next to an apple orchard. One person commented that this photo looked like the Windows XP Background.

Title: Nighthaven Boat

This was the first thing I saw when arriving in Nighthaven. A regular boat but the way the sun was positioned behind it put ‘God rays’ on the masts which gave it a majestic appearance. I had to capture this photo quickly before the sun shifted.

Title: Nighthaven Castle

I had just finished climbing one of the many towers in Nighthaven when, before I jumped off the top, I caught the view of a castle nearby. Lightning was flashing in the clouds lingering above it and I tried my best to capture lightning in a bottle with the photo.

Title: Nighthaven Settlement

The player hub is a castle this time instead of a town or village. I was across the lake surrounding the structure when I looked up and caught this unique angle. On second glance I realize this photo is akin to many ‘castle shots’ in horror films.

Title: Sunlit Lifemoth

Gathering resources are plentiful in Nighthaven but this lifemoth was perched on a branch jutting out over a cliff! The sun positioning behind the moth, along with the lifemoths natural glow, made it look like this lifemoth was something special. Maybe it was because I took this photo of it.

Title: Sunsets Edge

Nothing fancy here. I equipped a new helm and wandered around the new zone until I reached the edge of the zone at sunset. One person commented that this photo looked good so I threw it in the gallery to finish the post.

That’s it from the gallery! All these photos were captured in Amazons MMORPG New World: Aeternum by me (ASynckronism) exploring the new zone Nighthaven.

There are more notable views outside of its typical vampire/werewolf aesthetic but finding them requires sometimes going outside the points of interest to see the life of the zone and its surroundings.
